Fu Baoshi Landscape Atlas

[Fu Baoshi Landscape Painting Volume]

“Landscape Painting” Volume, modern times, Fu Baoshi painting, paper version, color setting, vertical 31.2cm, horizontal 55.5cm
The title of this painting is: “Write with a stone.” The seal is “Fu” with a round seal in Zhu Wen, and “often drunk” with a rectangular seal in Zhu Wen
In the picture, the green pine stands out against the beautiful mountain scenery, with continuous peaks and peaks, which rise and fall one after another. It has the characteristics of misty clouds in the Yunshan Mountain of Mi Fu in the Northern Song Dynasty. This drawing does not include traditional texturing methods, but only uses variations and renderings of ink color, with emphasis on the expression of light and shadow. It is clearly influenced by Japanese painting. Fu Baoshi once said, “Japanese painting has also had an impact on me. One is the light, and the other is the bolder color. Now it seems that the first point is more prominent, and attention has been paid to the contrast of light in the creation.” This picture should be the best footnote for his summary of his painting creation
This is a donation from Mrs. Fu Baoshi, Luo Shihui
