The History of the Yuan Dynasty records that the Emperor of the Yuan Dynasty of Mongolia valued the animals paid tribute by distant people, ordered painters to draw documentary pictures, and domesticated them for use. In the painting, there are six people in total, including the former usher holding the sword and flag, the groom and the attendants. The fine horse paying tribute is accurate in shape, vigorous and plump. This picture is similar to the travel procession of honor guard specifications, which is the classic pattern of the tribute drawing.
