[Qian Xuan Shan Ju Tu Volume]

Shan Ju Tu Volume, Yuan, Qian Xuan Tu, paper, color, 26.5cm vertical, 111.6cm horizontal
At the end of the volume, the author wrote his own title: “Living in the mountains only loves tranquility, and the firewood door is closed at noon. There are many taboos for widows, and there is no need to seek for self-respect. Both Peng and Peng have ambitions, and Lan and Ai have different roots. Andy Mong and Zhuang Seng, meet and discuss in detail. Wu Xingqian selected Shun to draw and title together.” Seal “Shun raised the seal”, “Shun raised the seal”, and “Qian selected the seal”. Behind the scroll, there are inscriptions of Ming people Yu Zhenmu, Liu Min, Zhou Chuan, etc
The author created this picture with his hermit life as the theme. The fine and flexible brushwork outlines the outline of the mountains, rocks and trees. It is painted in blue and green with heavy colors, and decorated with gold powder. The picture is gorgeous and elegant, rich in decoration, and exquisite in craftsmanship without losing its ancient and elegant style. It is the representative work of Qian Xuan to inherit the “golden and blue landscape” painting method of the Tang and Song Dynasties and to reflect the literati’s interest
It is described in the Records of Gengzi Selling Summer.
