分享一组1930年代吉林四平老照片，一览当时的四平街全景、忠魂碑、满人街等建筑历史风貌。

四平的名字在满语中是“锥子”，指的是河流细直的意思，据记载这里就是四通八达的意思，最早叫四平街。后来，四平是长春通向南方火车的第五站，所以叫五站，后来改名叫四平街站，最后改名为四平站。

四平的名气主要来自解放战争中的四平争夺战，可以说是内战时期战斗最惨烈的战场之一。

满铁四平街医院”,成立于1931年,设病床500张,专为日本人服务。座落在现今四平铁路医院及四平市妇婴医院部分地点。

四平街气象观测所

位于四平市铁西区英雄广场（原儿童公园）西北角，俗称“气象楼”。1933年由日本关东州气象管理部所建，当时定名为四平街气象观测所，“简称测候所，它是国内最早的观测站之一。

四平街中央路沿着站前的中央大路直走，在街内的中心位置有一个圆形的广场，那里有四平街神社和公园，在公园中心有一座忠魂碑。
