Robert· Larimore· Robert Larimore Pendleton (1890-1957) was a soil scientist and professor of geography at Johns Hopkins University in the United States. He visited China from 1931 to 1933, covering many provinces and cities in the northeast, north and southwest of China. He took more than 1100 stereoscopic photos, recording the customs and traditions of China during the Republic of China

This group of photos was taken in 1932. From the photos, the author went north to take photos in Beijing, Suiyuan, Northeast China, Jiangsu and Zhejiang in 1931. After returning to Guangzhou, the author first went to Macao and Zhongshan. This group of photos was taken at this time
