Robert· Larimore· Robert Larimore Pendleton (1890-1957) was a soil scientist and professor of geography at Johns Hopkins University in the United States. He visited China from 1931 to 1933, covering many provinces and cities in the northeast, north and southwest of China. He took more than 1100 stereoscopic photos, recording the customs and traditions of China during the Republic of China
This group of photos was taken in 1932. According to the photos, the author took a train from Guangzhou to Shaoguan, went to Shixing, and returned by train. About 27 old local photos were taken along the way, leaving us a rare historical image of Shaoguan and its surrounding areas
