- Description:
It has a flat octagonal body. With a long neck, two tubular ears are placed on both sides of the neck, and two strings are decorated on the upper and lower sides. The abdomen is tucked up from the top to the bottom. The round foot is also made into an eight square, and a rectangular hole is opened on the foot wall. Mat firing, green glaze is applied inside and outside, gray brown edge is exposed at the thin edge glaze, and the glaze surface is covered with brown fine lines. Apply glaze to the foot border, and apply ochre thin juice on the foot tip without glaze. A similar example can also be found in the cellar of the Yuan Dynasty in Xingang Street, Fanchang County, Anhui Province. Because the cellar was accompanied by Yuan blue and white covered jars and high foot cups, it could in turn indicate the firing age of this octagonal jar.
