  • Description:
The flower shaped plate is divided into sixteen petals, with shallow sloping walls, a narrow fold around the bottom, and a short circle of feet. It is installed and fired by using a combination of support and cushion. The inside and outside are covered with blue glaze. The color is green with gray. The mouth edge is inlaid with copper edges. There are glaze accumulation marks under the mouth. The glaze surface has light brown patterns. The feet are decorated evenly, the foot ends are flattened, and ochre juice is applied. Six burn points were arranged around the bottom, and iron gray matrix was exposed in the branch marks. In the center is the underglaze “Baoyong” two character seal character inscription. Since the upper edge of the foot ring of this exhibit has a narrow fold and the firing process is similar to another celadon Kuikou dish (hence the porcelain 008618) in the hospital collection, this work can be compared with the unearthed objects from the tomb of Wang Xingzu in Nanjing, which was dated under the Yuan Dynasty, so this exhibit should be regarded as a product of the Yuan Dynasty. On the other hand, a bowl with the inscription of “Official Kiln” written on the bottom of the Yuan Dynasty kiln unearthed in Laohudong, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province
