Comments:Zwalf 1985Like other scrolls at Dunhuang this contains a simple enumeration of the Thousand Buddhas of the present age (‘kalpa’). The robe colours of successive Buddhas alternate regularly as do those of the Thousand Buddhas painted on the walls of the Dunhuang cave temples.
