Description:
Fragmentary clay figure depicting a lion’s face. The animal is shown in full frontal view but only the face, surrounded by the mane remains. The figure was most likely applied to another object, probably a vessel. The object consists of two fragments with separate registration numbers (1936,1021.16 and 1930,1021.36) that were joined together.
