Description:
Fragment of a sculpture representing the Buddha. Only the head remains, with both ears and most of the hair missing. The face has a serene expression, the eyes are half closed. The hair is rendered by curved shapes stamped into the clay. On the reverse side of the object, the remains of a clay core can still be seen.
