Description:
This moulded porcelain figure depicts an old man with a long beard, wearing a green robe decorated with white and yellow plum blossoms and with a cloud rank badge at the front and a stylised 壽shou [longevity] character on the rank badge at the back. He is sitting, with one knee raised, on a hexagonal plinth, ornamented at the front with three chrysanthemum flowers in a quatrefoil cartouche on a diaper ground. Franks identifies this immortal as Han Zhongle but here his attribute, which he would have held in his left hand has been broken off.
