Fu Baoshi Fishing Return Map Axis

[Fu Baoshi Fishing Return Map Axis]

“Fishing Return Map” axis, modern and contemporary, painted by Fu Baoshi, paper based, colored, 66.5cm vertically and 34.4cm horizontally
The title of this painting is: “I am ugly in March, written in Hongdu. It is a new metaphor for Fu Baoshi.” The seal is “Fu” with Zhu Wenyuan’s seal, “Baoshi’s private seal” with Bai Wenfang’s seal, “Baoshi’s successful work” with Zhu Wenfang’s seal, and “often drunk” with Zhu Wenfang’s seal
The year of self shame was 1949
This image has a fresh and elegant style. The peaks rise and fall, the pine and cypress trees are covered in mist, and the red walls of the temple can be faintly seen in the mountains, as if the melodious sound of bells can be heard drifting between the valleys. Although “Baoshicun” has not yet reached the stage where the painter’s late letters and strokes reached a magical level, it has been freely wielded and properly folded, forming a unique artistic effect with subtle connotations in its coarseness. In one corner of the picture, the fisherman carries a shoulder pole and walks in a hurry, completely ignoring the green mountains and endless mountains. The characters are not big, but they are also well written, with meticulous hair, eyebrows, and eyes. The urgency of returning home is vividly reflected on the paper
This picture is donated by Mrs. Fu Baoshi, Luo Shihui
