[The scroll of the statue of Sakyamuni inscribed on Kesi Qianlong]

The scroll of the statue of Sakyamuni inscribed on Kesi Qianlong is 206 centimeters long and 86 centimeters horizontal in the Qing Dynasty. The old collection of the Qing Palace
The statue of Sakyamuni is woven with colorful silk and gold threads. This statue of Sakyamuni is a meditative statue, with the Manta falling under the cover of the Jiuhua Ganoderma, surrounded by auspicious clouds. Against the backdrop of the backlight, the Buddha has a benevolent face. He sits with his head folded on the Seven-Palm Lotus Sutra, his right palm pressed against his left palm, and he is placed upside down in front of his foot as the navel. The upper poetry hall weaves a four character poem from the Qianlong Imperial Praise and Calligraphy on the blue ground using gold thread tapestry:
Heaven and earth, independent and revered
The Water Moon Dojo is now golden
Thirty-two phases, 80 types are good
The day is solemn, and seeing it is upside down
Vimo Ceiling, Shangyunfro
In the light of He Buddha, the Manta falls in abundance
Jiuhua Zhigai, Qibao Liantai
Three car method performance, five leaf Zongkai
When there is, there is empty, and when there is no empty, there is no empty
All sentient beings are fully devoted, and the banquet is held with righteous hands
In the 27th year of Qianlong’s reign (1762), this should be the book of the first month of the spring. “Juxi Garden” and “Qianlong Chenhan” in Zhu and Bai inscriptions were carved and printed in each side
This tapestry of Sakyamuni is a Han Buddhist painting copied from the murals of the grotto temple. It is woven with meticulous and heavy color techniques. The tapestry is naturally woven, and the tapestry techniques such as flat tapestry, long and short tapestry, structural tapestry, and overlapping tapestry accurately express the charm of the Buddha statue. Local areas are colored with a pen and painted with gold to make the image more vivid. This image is extremely rich in color, and the halo method is often used to represent the level of color, making the object more colorful and moist. The statue of Sakyamuni is made of scarlet and gold thread tapestry, which is dazzling
The seal on the statue bears the following 11 seals: “Qianlong Appreciation”, “Qianlong Imperial Tour Treasure”, “Sanxi Hall Jingjian Seal”, “Suitable for Descendants”, “Qianqing Palace Jingcang Treasure”, “Supreme Emperor’s Treasure”, “Xuantong Imperial Tour Treasure”, “Jiaqing Imperial Tour Treasure”, “Secret Palace Zhulin”, “Secret Palace Newly Edited”, and “Zhulin Redefinition”. Two letters and eight volumes of “The Continuation of the Secret Palace Zhulin” are described.
