[Emperor’s Xiaxing Clothes Crown]
The Emperor’s Xiaxing Clothes Crown was built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, with a diameter of 30 centimeters and a height of 18 centimeters. The old collection of the Qing Palace
The crown style is like a bamboo hat, with a natural color silk woven mat pattern yarn as the surface. The crown edge is woven along a stone blue flower pattern with a gold satin edge and a stone blue silk woven herringbone ribbon. The cap is prefixed with a large east bead. The crown is decorated with a large red silk thread disk, known as the “red velvet knot top”, with red threads hanging around it. The crown is lined with a bright red crepe silk lining, with a homogenous hood loop nailed inside, and a draping blue cloth drawstring strap
This emperor’s summer traveling clothing crown is finely crafted, and in its simplicity, it shows its splendor.
