The court robe has a round neck, a large front with a right lapel, horseshoe sleeves, a lapel in stone blue, a bright yellow ribbon with a cloud on the back, and the upper and lower garments are connected. The robe is made of blue tapestry, with a two-color round gold thread tapestry woven with a golden dragon pattern. The five-color silk thread weaves auspicious clouds, Babao Pingshui, and Haishui River Cliffs. The body of the garment is listed in twelve chapters
The tapestry of this imperial robe is fine and dense, with the tapestry on both sides being smooth and even, without exposing thread ends. The colors are mainly red, dark green, light green, dark blue, light blue, lavender, and fragrant, with rich colors and distinct layers. According to the Qing Dynasty code, this blue robe should have been worn by Emperor Qianlong on occasions such as praying for grain and praying for rain in the southern suburbs. The original robe has yellow stripes, with the following inscription: “Gaozong”, “One single robe with blue tapestry and gold border, two coral clouds on the back, four coral falling corners, and eight regular beads on the rice block.”.
