[Qianlong Style Silk Enamel Shepherd Penholder]

Qianlong Style Silk Enamel Shepherd Penholder, Qing Dynasty Qianlong, height 15 cm, length 16 cm, width 7.8 cm
The pen holder is in the shape of a lying sheep, carrying a shepherd on its back. The shepherd, wearing a pointed hat and a green and purple robe, sat on the back of the sheep with bent legs, stroking the back with both hands, looking up with a happy expression. The hollow formed between the high head of the sheep, the body of the shepherd, and the high curved legs is exactly where the brush is placed. The curly hair pattern of the sheep’s entire body is outlined with a double line of filigree, and is filled with white and brown enamel. Under the pen holder, there is a gilded rectangular base, with four characters inscribed in regular script “Qianlong Year System” in the two sides of the bottom center frame
The pen holder is ingeniously designed and has a vivid shape, integrating practicality and appreciation. It is unique and interesting, and is a legendary product
