Round mirror, hemispherical button, round button seat, with the inscription “Light is right for people, and it is better to be new for long life” on the seat, with small bumps between words. The outer ring of the button seat is a circle of rolled grass patterns, and the outer ring is a twelve square grid, each filled with the animals of the twelve zodiac signs surrounded by clouds. The outermost ring is serrated. Triangular bevel. Similar mirrors were unearthed in Liu Wei’s tomb in Liujiaqu, Shaanxi County, Henan Province, and Li Jingxun’s tomb in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province. They are new bronze mirrors developed in the early Sui Dynasty.
