The title on the top right of this picture reads: “The rain is good for the autumn festival, and the heat of Lin Gao is getting lighter. The heart of the hermit is far away, and suddenly he is walking on a wild bridge. The road is full.” The seal of “Fu Fu Fu Shi” is stamped after it. Two seals on the edge: “Yihexuan seal”, “Yang’s bamboo slope collection”
The composition of this painting is influenced by Huang Gongwang. He uses Gaoyuan method to draw with light ink and cursive calligraphy, and points and writes more than rubs and dyes. The pen is sharp and fast, and the brushwork is loose and free. A few characters are already in shape and spirit, which shows the artist’s artistic attainments of combining complexity with simplicity and craftsmanship with emotion.
