This picture reads: “The landscape is not deep yet, and there are few fish and birds, so I plan to relocate again in my life. It should only be on the Sanzhu River, and the single tree is the bridge summary house. There is a picture of mending peace and tranquility poems in the cloud forest, so Dong Xuanzai wrote it.” The top left is also titled: “The boat of the Qixi Festival of Gengshen will help the Huanglongpu. Dong Xuanzai.”

“Gengshen” is the forty-eighth year of the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty (1620), when Dong Qichang was 66 years old
The picture shows overlapping peaks, lush trees and houses.
