The fan page has its own title: “Taoyuan Cave. The autumn sun of the third son was written in the depths of the bamboo. Yuan Shangtong.” The seal is “Yuan Shangtong’s seal” and “Shu Ming’s” white seal. “C Zi” was in the ninth year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty (1636), when Yuan Shangtong was 67 years old
According to the plot in Tao Yuanming’s Peach Blossom Garden in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, this picture depicts the beautiful scenery of “when the forest is full of water, there is a mountain, and the mountain has a small mouth, as if there were light. Then you can leave the boat and enter from the mouth. At the beginning, it is very narrow, and then you can get through to people. After walking dozens of steps, it is suddenly clear. The land is flat, the house is like, and there is a good field, a beautiful pond, and the mulberry and bamboo belong to…”. The whole picture is steep, the scenery is strange and dangerous, and the colors are elegant. The quiet and peaceful mood it presents successfully expresses that the Peach Blossom Land is the creation theme of the fairyland on earth
