The picture shows a bird perching on a plum branch. Cherry’s pen and ink are simple and vivid, and its alert look to the left extends the meaning of the painting, giving people an imaginative space outside the painting. Plum tree flowers are painted with lines and empty hooks, and bamboo leaves are used for freehand brushwork. They not only highlight the scenery of Queer, but also add charm to the painting with their own style
