This seal script has the title of “fishing boat in the cold pond” and the title of “written by Shen Shichong in the autumn of the Geng Wu”. Seal “Shen Shichong” and “Ziju”. “Gengwu” is the third year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty (1630). The seal on the left side is stamped “once at Tian Guifang”
In the picture, the leaves in the deep ravine and deep valley are completely detached, and the dead trees and branches are interlaced. A hermit is driving a boat across the lake. The boat is full of poetry and wine, and the fishing rod is placed on the canopy. The hermit is stopping to look out. The pen is mostly dry and dry, with little water, and the color is mainly light crimson, which highlights the bleak atmosphere of the rocks and trees, and represents Shen Shichong’s typical style of light colored landscape in his later years.
