This atlas was created by Dong Qichang as a gift to Jingtao. After 11 years, Jing Tao showed it to Dong. According to Dong’s self-title, there are only seven of them. I don’t know when to lose one. According to the title in the picture, this book was written on March 3, the thirty-ninth year of the Wanli calendar of the Ming Dynasty (1611). Dong Qichang was 57 years old. The new topic will be repeated on February 19, the second year of the opening ceremony tomorrow (1622). Dong was 68 years old
The first opening, the title of this picture: “Imitation of Huang Zijiu, Xuanzai.”
This picture depicts the scene of seclusion in the mountains. In the distant view, the peaks, slopes and rocks are crisscrossed, and in the close view, the stream flows from the forest to the back of the mountain. The trees are verdant, quiet and deep
The second opening, this picture is from the second title, and the lower left title: “The year old wrote eight small scenes on the day of 1911. This picture imitates the brushwork and composition of Ni Zan of the Yuan Dynasty, and highlights the state of miscellaneous trees with the plain composition and simple and clear ink. Behind the trees, you can see the distant mountains of Xiting. The layered slope stones are chapped and the ink color changes appropriately. The distant mountains are chapped with dry brush, and the artistic conception is empty
The third opening, the self-title of this picture: “imitating the woodcutter in Huanghe Mountain. Xuanzai.”
The composition of a river and two banks is adopted. There are a group of miscellaneous trees on the slope stone in the close view. The painting method of the distant mountain is the combination of Pima and Jiesuo, and the painting method of the distant mountain is eager to point moss, with Wang Meng’s legacy

In the picture, there are cliffs along the stream, towering trees, thatched houses in front of the trees, surrounded by streams, and there is a feeling of water country across the mountains
The sixth opening, the title of this picture: “Miyuan Hui. Xuanzai.”
The close view of the picture is of trees on the bank of the stream, the distant view is of peaks and clouds. It shows the natural scenery in the south of the Yangtze River, which is misty and unpredictable
The seventh opening, the title of this painting: “Xuanzai’s painting is the brother of Jingtao Society, and the spring of 1911 is just like the sun.”
The picture has a close view of the jungle, a wide river, and a stack of mountains in the distance. Huang Gongwang’s technique is the main way to use the brush, which is round, combined with chapping and dyeing, and has a deep artistic conception.
