Yellow pear wood painting table

[Yellow pear wood painting table]

Ming, 79.5 cm high, 176 cm long and 83.5 cm wide

The painting table is made of yellow pear wood, the table top is rectangular, and it is made of a frame. There are corner teeth on the outside of the four legs under the face, and there is a cauldron under the tooth bar, forming a three-tooth structure of one leg. The legs of the table are made of thick round wood, which is left out, and the side feet receive obvious points. This table is not carved except for the positive line on the edge of the tooth bar, which has a strong Ming style

The painting table is used for painting and splashing ink. Compared with the general table, the width and length of the painting table are increased, so it is not awkward to roll the cloth paper. This table is just like this. The three-tooth and one-leg cauldron ensures the stability of the structure and leaves enough space for the completion. The use of the moldings is very measured, and they will never be the dominant one, so that the viewers’ eyes will naturally focus on the beautiful texture of the yellow pear, which shows the deep understanding of the ancient craftsmen on the structure, shape and material of the furniture
