There is a title on the fan page: “Mr. Huanhai wrote it in the summer of Yiwei. Yunpeng
“Yiwei” refers to the 23rd year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1595), when Ding Yunpeng was 49 years old
The most striking feature of this picture is that there are large areas of bamboo forests, with upright bamboo poles and green leaves. They are neatly arranged along the river bank, creating an elegant and quiet natural environment. The bamboos in the picture are meticulously and meticulously portrayed with meticulous brushwork. The strokes of the bamboo knots are distinct, and the ink of the bamboo leaves can be nearly thick and far thin. They expand the spatial level of the picture between the virtual and the real, and also show the author’s skill in bamboo painting. This is a painting given by the author to his friend Mr. Huanhai. Here, bamboo, which has the reputation of being one of the “Four Gentlemen”, is skillfully used as the theme to appreciate his friend’s character of being as noble and honest as bamboo
