Fang Congyi Stream Bridge

[Fang Congyi River Bridge Youxing Map Axis]

River Bridge Youxing Map Axis, Yuan, Fang Congyi’s work, paper, ink, 63.3 cm vertically and 35 cm horizontally
This picture is a landscape painting by Fang Congyi, a Taoist painter of the Yuan Dynasty. The picture shows the first area of the landscape, where the mountains are locked by clouds, the streams flow from the mountains, the grass bridge is horizontally framed, and one person moves forward with a stick. The distant mountains are hidden, the cottages are hidden in the trees, and the artistic conception is quiet and quiet. The pen and ink are smooth, and the dye method is used more often, and the pen is used more horizontally. The sparsity of the brush of the trees can be divided by the depth of the ink. The scenery in the picture is concentrated in the lower part of the picture, while the upper part is very empty, making the picture appear deep and remote
On the right side of this picture, there are four characters in the running script entitled “Xiqiao Youxing”, with a seal at the bottom, which is indistinguishable. There is a paragraph of “Fang Congyi” in the ink book of the author between the rocks at the lower right corner. On the left side of the picture, Fang Congyi wrote himself: “The square pot was painted with two pens by Gao Gong, and it was sent to Yunsheng’s elegant and quiet room in spring.” The left seal was stamped with “Golden Gate Feather” and “The Holy Grail in the Painting”. “Jiwei” is the sixth year of Yanyou in the Yuan Dynasty (1319), so it is speculated that this picture should be Fang Congyi’s early work
On the upper left of this picture, there is a poem written by a person from Xiazhouju: “I know that the square pot is old, and it has been 40 years. My chest is full of vitality, and the clouds and smoke burst out. It opens the secrets of heaven and earth, and is famous for the spread of the Xiang Sea. Some people have died, but the ink is still there. Xiazhouju is a person.” The next seal is “the bottom of the pen” and “the east mountain grass house”. The first seal is “Songshi Pavilion”. There are two Ming Shen Zhou and Wen Zheng Ming inscriptions in the Shangshitang, which are stamped with the seals of “Stop Cloud Pavilion” and “Shen Shi Kai Nan”
