[The Painting of Bin Wind by Ma He]

The Painting of Bin Wind by Ma He in the Southern Song Dynasty, the work of Ma He, the silk version, with colors, 25.7 cm vertically and 55.7 cm horizontally
The author wrote it according to the poetic meaning of Bin Feng in The Book of Songs. The whole volume is divided into seven sections, which are “July”, “Wo Hao”, “Dongshan”, “Broken Axe”, “Fake Ke”, “Jiu Ju”, “Wolf Postscript”, and the original book “Bin Feng” in front of each section. The figures in the picture are vivid, the clothing patterns are painted with blue leaves, the strokes are smooth and unrestrained, and the colors are beautiful and elegant, which are also excellent works in various Mao poems. This volume is printed without money. It is the painting of Ma He and Zhao Gou of Song Gaozong. However, the word “Gou” in the section of “Vasco” is missing because it avoids the taboo of the high school, such as “0133”, which means that the book was not written by Zhao Gou, but was written by a master of the painting academy. This picture was divided into two volumes in the early Yuan Dynasty. Only the “Broken Axe” was collected by Zhao Mengfu. Dong Qichang mistook it for Zhao Mengfu’s supplementary picture in the late Ming Dynasty. During the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, the two were involved in the internal government. They were combined into a volume, and Dong Qichang and Gao Shiqi were moved to the back. At the beginning of the volume, there are four characters in the Hongli imperial script of Emperor Gaozong of the Qing Dynasty, “Wei Yue Yu Feng”. In addition to the three inscriptions of Dong Qichang and Xiang Yuanbian, there is also one inscription of Emperor Qianlong on the tail paper, which is sealed by Xiang Yuanbian, Gao Shiqi of the Qing Dynasty, Liang Qingbiao, Qianlong, Jiaqing and Xuantong
Zhang Chou’s “Qinghe Calligraphy and Painting Boat”, Bian Yongyu’s “Collection of Calligraphy and Painting in Shigutang”, Wu Sheng’s “Grand View Record”, “Shiqu Treasure Collection”, “Shiqu Essays” and other books.
