In the picture, there is a pod and the fruit is suddenly bearing. A yellow-brown dragonfly gently stopped at the end of the branch and pressed the pod slightly. The picture composition is simple and natural, and the density is appropriate. The painter drew the outline of the pod branches and leaves with a fine center pen, dyed them with cyan and stone green, and dotted the petals with white powder. The lines were steady, the colors were rich, and the image was realistic. In the picture, dragonflies are particularly superb. The transparent texture of their wings and clear veins are clearly and vividly displayed, reflecting the high level of realism achieved in Song painting
