[Li Shenjing and other stone statues of immeasurable longevity]
Li Shenjing and other stone statues of immeasurable longevity, the sixth year of Tianbao in the Northern Qi Dynasty (555 years), with a residual height of 27 cm
The Buddha’s head has been lost, and he is wearing a hanging neck-style cassock. The clothes are carved with double Yin lines. The undulation is natural and the lines are smooth. The hem is folded, and the knot is folded, and he sits on the Xumizuo. The supplicants on both sides of the dragon tree, the threatening waiter and the Xumizuo are incomplete. The base is carved with Huasheng Boy, Boshan Stove, Lion and Lux (Vajra). On the back of the pedestal is carved a vow: “On the 23rd of the first month of the sixth year of Tianbao, Li Shenjing, a man from Shangquyang County, and other brothers worshipped the emperor and his dead parents to build a white jade limitless life like a zone (body) and two Bodhisattvas, wishing the dead parents to give up their own body and live in the western paradise, and wishing all living beings in the Dharma world to live in the size of their families, stay away from hardship, and gain enlightenment quickly.”
