[Liu Zunbo made the Western Three Saints]
Liu Zunbo made the Western Three Saints in the fourth year of Tiantong in the Northern Qi Dynasty (568), with a residual height of 27 cm
Amitabha is dressed in a lapel type cassock, seated on a corset lotus seat, with a round head light, and a tree with a coiled dragon on the left and right, with the dragon claw down, the dragon head up, and the mouth spitting Jialian. The lack of flanking attendants on both sides, according to the vow, is supposed to be Avalokitesvara, Dashi to the second Bodhisattva. The base is carved with the common combination of Boy, Boshan stove, lion and Lux (Vajra) in the Northern Qi Dynasty. On the side of the base, there are three donors, some holding ten, some holding fragrant flowers, and some holding fragrant treasures. On the back of the base is carved a vow: “On December 29, the fourth year of Tiantong, disciple Liu Zunbo created the jade statue of Amitabha, Avalokitesvara, and the two Bodhisattvas of Dashi for the sake of meeting his parents, the dead and the dead, and for the sake of his family (Yi), and for the sake of his knowledge. He is willing to live and die, and live in peace and happiness, and all of them will ascend to the Buddha’s fruit. And Manjusri, Wenhui, Wenxin, Nitanyin, Tan□, wife Zhang □, father Shixing, mother Gaihui, Zunbo.”
