Stone Statue Stele, Northern Wei Dynasty, 134 cm high and 79 cm wide
The Buddha has a flame pattern backlight and a round head light. The head light is divided into two layers, the inner layer is lotus petals, and the outer layer is wrapped with lotus leaves. The Buddha’s face is square and round, the corners of his mouth are smiling, the right hand is dauntless, and the left hand is willing. There is a monk’s branch inside and a double-necked pendulous cassock outside. The cassock is broad and upright with bare feet. Each side is flanked by a bodhisattva, standing on the small lotus platform, smiling, wearing a high crown, topless, wearing a long skirt, wearing silk on the shoulders, wearing a collar and wreath, a bodhisattva with two hands together, a bodhisattva with a lotus bud in one hand and a peach in the other. The two sides and the back of the tablet are the contents of worshippers worshipping Buddha
