George· Ernest· George Ernest Morrison (February 4, 1862 – May 30, 1920), an Australian born Scot, graduated from Edinburgh University in 1887 with a doctor’s degree. He was the chief correspondent of The Times in China (1897-1912) and political adviser of the President of the Republic of China (1912-1920). He was a traveler and politician with close relationship with modern China

  Morrison likes adventure, especially after he came to China, he was very obsessed with this mysterious oriental country. He traveled to Yunnan in 1894 and took many photos. This group of photos was taken during his stay in Kunming, Yunnan Province. At present, there are 7 small photos, and there are still omissions to be added later
