Belonging to Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, Beizhen City is located at the eastern end of western Liaoning and the eastern foot of Yiwulu. The north town is named after Yiwulu Mountain, which is the northern town. The Rites of the Zhou Dynasty records that the east town is Qingzhou Yishan, the west town is Yongzhou Wushan, the middle town is Jizhou Huoshan, the south town is Yangzhou Kuaiji Mountain, and the north town is Yiwulu Mountain, which are collectively called five towns. According to the Local Records of Guangning County; Shun granted the Twelve Mountains with Yiwulu Mountain as the town of Youzhou, so it was named Beizhen&rdquo

北镇市隶属于辽宁省锦州市，位于辽宁西部东端，医巫闾山东麓。北镇因医巫闾山为北方镇山而得名。《周礼》记载，东镇青州沂山，西镇雍州吴山，中镇冀州霍山，南镇扬州会稽山，北镇医巫闾山，合称五座镇山。据《广宁县乡土志》记载，“舜封十二山以医巫闾山为幽州之镇故名北镇 ” 。
