Old photos of occupied Texas taken by Japanese journalists in 1937

This is a group of old photos taken by Japanese journalists during the Anti Japanese War after the fall of Texas

During the War of Resistance against Japan, because Han Fuju wanted to preserve his strength, the Japanese almost took no trouble to occupy Shandong. However, Texas was different. There were not only battles here, but also the Japanese aggressors suffered

Of course, it is very interesting that during the Anti Japanese War, Dezhou actually belonged to Hebei Province, which is not surprising. The map of Dezhou we see now is very interesting. Dezhou downtown is at the junction of Shandong and Hebei, almost surrounded by Hebei

On September 24, 1937, after the 10th Division of the Japanese aggressors captured Cangzhou, they took advantage of the momentum to pursue. Push the battle to the front line of Dezhou and Shijiazhuang. On October 3, the 10th Japanese Division began to attack Texas, and our army sent the Third Group Army of the Sixth Theater stationed in Shandong to reinforce it. This army is Han Fuju’s army. Later, we all know the result, but Han Fuju did pay a price in Texas

At that time, the 450th Regiment of the 81st Division firmly defended the city of Texas and launched a bloody battle with the Japanese aggressors by virtue of the city wall. In this battle, the 485th Regiment defeated the Japanese aggressors many times by being outnumbered. On the 4th, almost all the officers and soldiers of the 485th Regiment died bravely, and even the regiment leader Chen Yannian died after being hit by shrapnel. Only a few officers and soldiers were forced to evacuate to the south bank of the Yellow River. Texas fell on October 5
