I don’t know how many times I have read Journey to the West when I was a child. I often hear the name of Putuo Mountain. It is said that it is the ashram where Guanyin Bodhisattva teaches all living beings. However, Putuo Mountain in reality is located in Putuo District, Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province, at the southern edge of Hangzhou Bay, and in the eastern sea area of Zhoushan Islands. According to historical records, as early as 2000 years ago, Mount Putuo was a treasure place for Taoist cultivation

Buddha Peak Scenic Area, also known as Baihua Peak and Bodhisattva Peak, is the main mountain of Putuo Mountain. The mountain is divided into branches, extending to the south, north and east respectively. The main peak is 291.3 meters above sea level. When viewed from a distance, the peaks are like arches, and the peaks are like cups and ladles, covering the water
There are Huiji Temple, Haitian Buddha Kingdom Cliff, Yunfu Stone, Bodhisattva Top, Carpinus pubescens, Foding Mountain Cableway and other scenic spots on Foding Mountain. It is a Buddhist tradition and custom of Mount Putuo to worship Buddha Peak. During the three Guanyin Incense Festival periods of February 19, June 19, and September 19 of the lunar calendar, Buddhist disciples from all over the country worship Buddha Peak Mountain in three steps to pay homage to Guanyin Bodhisattva

小时候看《西游记》不知道已经有多少遍了，普陀山这个名字经常听到，相传是观世音菩萨教化众生的道场。然而现实中的普陀山位于浙江省舟山市普陀区，杭州湾南缘，舟山群岛东部海域。据史书记载，早在2000多年前，普陀山即为道人修炼之宝地。
有人说“不上佛顶山，等于没到过普陀山”。
佛顶山景区又名白华顶、菩萨顶，为普陀山之主山。山分支脉，分别向南、北、东伸延，主峰海拔291.3米，从远处眺望，诸峰若拱，峰顶垒垒如杯瓢，覆于积水之上。
佛顶山上主要有慧济寺、海天佛国崖、云扶石、菩萨顶、鹅耳枥树、佛顶山索道等几处景点。朝拜佛顶山是普陀山佛教的传统和习俗，每逢农历二月十九、六月十九、九月十九，三个观音香会期，来自各地的佛弟子们三步一拜朝礼佛顶山，礼敬观世音菩萨。
我收集到一组1929年拍摄的佛顶山老照片，让我们一览90年前的佛顶山原生态美丽风景。
藤萝境
由法雨寺上佛顶的道路，一路幽径縈迴、奇巖耸立、古藤翠萝、回环蔓绕、好一处曲径幽邃之境。
雪浪山之一
在光熙峰右，两峰对峙，中间的小路为上佛顶的山路
雪浪山之二
此山多白石，朗朗辉映，如积雪，如涌浪，故名雪浪山。
天灯塔
建在普陀最高处，登塔一望，极目千里，海中水纹，天晴无风时一一毕现，真奇观也。此塔为昏夜行舟指引方向而设。现已被改建成瞭望楼。
海天佛国石
由雪浪山行进至至西茶山，有巨石耸立，下石题海天佛国，上石题云扶石。以其敧而不堕，意谓云扶。

东天门
由海天佛国石处曲折而上，有石形奇特·上刻 心印 二字。
东天门，位于几宝岭的上，此门由几块巨石自然垒叠而成，门边有一洞，宛如一间石室，称为法华洞。法华洞不仅洞中有洞，泉水潺潺，原还建有法华洞庵和望旭亭，四周有“无畏石”、“一龟下山石”等许多奇岩怪石，自然景色十分优美，曾为普陀山十二胜景之一。
慧济寺大殿
在白华顶，今称佛顶山。创建于明代，清光绪年间重修，规模宏敞。虽不及普济、法雨，然以在普陀最高处，故得鼎立成三。
该寺因山制宜，布局包括天王殿后，大雄宝殿、大悲殿、藏经楼、玉皇殿、方丈室等俱在同一条平行线上，与左右厢房相拥，颇有浙东园林建筑风格，为其他禅林所少见。
