The Manchu name in Jilin is“ Jilin Wula”, It means“ Cities along the river”, Because Emperor Kangxi visited Jilin City to the east and wrote Songhua River Boat Song; Tunjiang City” In other words, Jilin City is also known as“ Jiangcheng&rdquo& ldquo; Northern Jiangcheng”. Jilin is one of the birthplaces of Manchu and the second hometown of Peking Opera. There are 35 ethnic groups living in Jilin, including Han, Manchu, Mongolian, Hui and Korean

1931年日%本%占%领了吉林城后于次年成立伪吉林省公署，图中就是公署前大街，左边驻吉林东三省保安副司令部。

吉林市的木材税关，光绪三十三年（1907年）设，该局原址位于临江门以西的船营街，又名“省城木税局”。从松花江上游通过筏子运输的木材，均要在此纳税，门匾上写有“吉林木税税捐局”，还有“税务重地”“严查透漏”等警示语。

吉林东团山铁路大桥，或称吉敦铁路大桥，或称吉林松花江铁路大桥。东团山铁路大桥是由日商承建的，大桥于1926年6月开工，1927年8月竣工。

吉林河南街，始建于清朝末年，全长约为2000米，宽为7.5米，因建在一条不知名的小河南岸而得名。街道两侧店铺林立、商号聚集，是当时吉林城里最繁华的商业街，距今已有一百多年的历史。

彼时的吉林市街景，竟然有这么多自行车。

在吉林市的北山，俯瞰下方，沿着山坡，建有关帝庙、药王庙、玉皇阁。

北山之顶的玉皇阁，始建于清乾隆三十九年的公元1774年，台阶下面头上都戴着礼帽的坐着三人坐在一条长凳聊天休息。

玉皇阁前部正面开三个门，正门上额嵌“玉皇阁”三字。正面东西两端有钟楼和鼓楼。

玉皇阁的牌楼，上挂“天下第一江山”的牌匾为清道光三年，时任吉林将军的大学士松筠所题写，后面的大殿是朵云殿。

玉皇阁后院由朵云殿及两厢客房组成。朵云殿是正殿，高两层。上层供奉玉皇大帝铜坐像。两侧伴侍的神像为千里眼及顺风耳；墙壁上绘二十八宿彩像。下层供奉的是琼宵、碧宵及云霄三宵娘神像。
