In 1902, Swire Shipping, a subsidiary of Swire, established the Blue Chimney Ship Company, and purchased land to build a wharf on the Huangpu River between the Yangjing Port and Minsheng Road in Pudong, Shanghai. The wharf is also called Blue Chimney
