Haida· Ms. Morrison (1908-1991) was born in Stuttgart, Germany. He has studied at Munich National Academy of Photography for three years since 1929
After graduation, in 1933, she applied for management work at the German Photography Studio in Beijing Adong. During her stay in Beijing from 1933 to 1946, she successively interviewed and filmed in Hebei, Shaanxi, Jiangsu and other provinces, with more than 10000 pieces of works
In Nanjing, Haida· Morrison took about 1000 photos. It is said that these photos were taken at the invitation of the German government. Later, due to the outbreak of China’s War of Resistance against Japan and World War II, they were kept in the library of Harvard University. This group of photos is just a few of them.
