Share a group of old photos of Nankai University in Tianjin in 1941 and images of Nankai University campus ravaged by Japanese artillery
On July 7, 1937, the July 7th Lugouqiao Incident broke out, and the all-around anti Japanese war broke out. On July 29 and 30, the Japanese army bombed Nankai University in Tianjin and destroyed it. The beautiful university campus in the past, under the fire of the Japanese army, suddenly became terrible, almost in ruins. Only the Siyuan Hall of the Science Museum, which was built in 1923, is still standing despite numerous holes, becoming the only surviving building on the campus
Mr. Zhang Boling of Post Nankai University led Nankai teachers and students to move south and formed the Southwest Associated University with Tsinghua Peking University. Nankai University in the War of Resistance against Japan has experienced hardships, but it is like a phoenix nirvana, and finally became a top school in China
This group of photos was probably taken in 1941 for the Japanese Kitajima Kuan
