In May 1938, in New York across the ocean, 12000 Chinese participated in the largest demonstration ever held in the United States. This is a protest held by the Chinese people to commemorate the signing of Article 21 of Japan, which was forced to humiliate the country on May 9, 1915

The reporter of American Life magazine recorded the scene with a camera. We can see that at the demonstration site, overseas Chinese, not men, women and children, all joined the demonstration, including some beautiful women in cheongsam and children holding flags. Although the Lugouqiao Incident did not break out at that time, the anti Japanese enthusiasm of the Chinese people was indeed very high.
