This group of photos was taken by the University of the Japanese Academy of Studies, and was collected by Gan Zhizhu Ishida (1891-1974), a Japanese who was visiting Korea and Manchuria at that time. The photos mainly came from various postcards issued in North China after 1919

青岛军政署
此处的神尾山即信号山,位于青岛市市南区中部,海拔98米,是市区海拔较高的临海山峰。此山原名大石头,青岛建港后,山上建有信旗台,专为轮船及帆船入港时传递信号,故得名“信号山”,又称“挂旗山”。当年日军侵占青岛后,更名“神尾山”,以纪念侵占青岛的日军大将神尾,也建立了日本占领青岛纪念碑。现这些曾使中国人民蒙受耻辱的碑刻早已被凿去,仅留遗迹。

中山路的景象,德占时期叫斐迪里大街,日占时期叫静冈町。国民政府时期改为中山路,抗战时期改为山东路,抗战胜利后再恢复为中山路。
