In the 1910s, photographers were hired to take more than 72000 old photos from all over the world, most of which were color photos. They were rare early color photos of the world. Among them, about 750 photos were taken in China, all of which were color photos. These photos can be said to be the first group of color photos in China. This group of photos were mostly taken in the Changling Tomb of the Ming Dynasty. Changling Tomb of the Ming Dynasty is the first of the Ming Tombs. It is the joint tomb of Zhu Di, the founder of the Ming Dynasty, and Queen Xu. It is located at the south foot of the main peak of Tianshou Mountain, Changping District, Beijing. It was built in the seventh year of Yongle (1409). The mausoleum building covers an area of about 120000 square meters. Among the Ming Tombs, the Changling Tomb of the Ming Dynasty has the largest building scale and the earliest construction time. 碑楼。是宣宗皇帝朱瞻基于宣德十年(公元1435年)为他祖父永乐皇帝建造的。楼内有神功圣德碑一通,高六米五,正面题“大明长陵神功圣德碑”,碑文有三千多字,是永乐的长子仁宗皇帝亲自写的。
明长陵石牌坊。在十三陵陵区的正面出口处,龙山、凤山的前面。它共有五门六柱十一楼,面宽近二十九米,高约十四米。嘉靖十九年(公元1540年),世宗皇帝为了颂扬祖宗的“圣德”而建造了这座石牌坊。它雄伟壮观,雕刻精美。

神道。进入陵区,通往各陵的路通称神路或称御路、神道等,其中由大宫门至七孔桥一段是通往诸陵的总干道。
文臣石像
大宫门,又称大红门,红墙,黄琉璃瓦,有三个门洞,是十三陵陵区的门户,建于永乐年间,宫门两侧原来设有角门供守陵的军队、修陵的工匠民夫出入。
