Turning to the Shamba is a way for Tibetan people to pray that Buddha Maitreya will come to the world to show his holiness in the future and give people new hope

格贵，寺院掌堂师，盛装出席转香巴。

转香巴从大经堂开始，首先进行沐浴香巴佛的仪式。

以文都寺法台为首的僧众队伍，抬着香巴佛开始转寺院，长角号吹响，法鼓敲起，气氛庄严肃穆。

僧众按其学位和长幼排着着长队，盛装出席转香巴。

转香巴的僧众队伍围绕寺院按顺时针方向转一圈。

转香巴的僧众队伍最后回到大经堂的石阶上。

围观的信众纷纷涌上前给香巴佛顶礼膜拜。

转香巴，以文都寺法台为首的僧众队伍，抬着香巴佛转寺院。挂着大念珠的铁棒喇嘛开道。

转香巴，紧随着铁棒喇嘛的是吹唢呐的僧人。

继后是文都寺法台，后旁僧人持幡幛。

僧人抬着香巴佛转寺，其后的僧人抬着金色幡幛紧跟。

转香巴的僧众队伍围着寺院按顺时针方向转一圈，回到大经堂前的广场。

围观的信众纷纷涌上前给香巴佛顶礼膜拜。
