Shen Zhou (1427-1509 AD), a native of Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, was named Qinan and Shitian, calling himself Baishiweng. He is tolerant and magnanimous. He can write poems and calligraphy, and is good at landscapes, flowers and fruits, birds and fish, animals, and people. He is one of the four great masters of the Ming Dynasty.
