Lu Zhi (1496-1576 AD), born in Wuxian County, Jiangsu Province, was named Shuping and Bao Shanzi. Charming and righteous, he is famous for his religious friends in the countryside. Poetry, prose, calligraphy and painting are both good. He once painted and recited poems with Wen Zhengming and Zhu Yunming. The reputation of painting is as good as that of Wen Zhengming.
