In this painting, a broken branch jasmine is painted in light ink. The branches stretch from bottom to top, and the branches, leaves and flowers are slightly radially slanted to the left and right. The ink color is delicate and delicate. Jasmine composition accounts for about two thirds of the picture, and Chen Chun writes his own cursive poems at the top. Compared with his colored flowers, this painting is obviously simple and plain in use. The flowers, dots and leaves are all drawn in calligraphy. It seems careless, and can get its vivid and natural interest. The ink and wash painting is on the light yellowish brown Buddhist scripture paper, which makes the picture more soft. It was painted in the year of Xin Chou (1541), when Chen Chun was 59 years old.
