Li Yin (1610-1685) was born in Qiantang (now Hangzhou). In his early years, he was a prostitute and could write poetry, calligraphy and painting. Ge Zhengqi (? - 1645), a famous scholar in Haining, admired his talent and accepted him as a concubine. Mi Fu (1052-1107) was the master of landscape architecture, and Chen Chun (1484-1544) was the master of flowers and birds. The artistic style of unrestrained, casual, relaxed and meaningful was highly praised by the people of the time.
