  Qiu Ying (about 1494-1552 AD) was born in Taicang, Jiangsu Province. The word Shifu is called Shizhou. He used to be a painter when he was young. Later, he met with Zhou Chen and became famous in the art world under his guidance. This is the first picture in the volume “Lin Song Yuan Six Scenes”. The peak is high and the lake is wide. You can enjoy yourself in a boat. Qiu Ying was once employed by Xiang Yuanbian, a big collector, and he had great experience copying ancient paintings. In this volume, there is another natural and unrestrained character. There is a collection seal of the Xiang family on the picture, which may have been made when he was employed by the Xiang family.
