  • Author: 董其昌
  • Form: 冊(摺裝‧方幅式)
  • Description:
Dong Qichang’s cursive script was mainly influenced by Huaisu, a wild cursive calligrapher of the Tang Dynasty. He studied his calligraphy carefully and left many copies. He believes that Huaisu’s calligraphy has reached the highest level of plain, naive and ancient calligraphy, and is an important model in his lifelong calligraphy theory system. This volume is used to write Du Fu’s “Autumn Prosperity” poems. The strokes are exquisite, and most of them are used by the center. The thickness, turns and ups and downs of the lines are very varied. The mellow part is calm and beautiful, the dry ink and white part is elegant and vigorous, and the structure is also quite full of posture. The movement of qi and the organization are natural and comfortable, full of the beauty of flowing and flying, and they are the high-quality cursive script.
